The FGS system is called a fire and gas system, also known as F-Fire or G-Gas, S-System。 It combines the gas detection system and fire alarm system into one for overall design, and is networked with other production safety systems and fire-fighting facilities to form a complete fire prevention and extinguishing system, thereby ensuring the safe operation of production.

The fire alarm controller transmits alarm information to the PLC control system through the RS485 bus, and the gas detector outputs a (4-20) mA signal that is connected to the PLC analog acquisition module. The hard redundant PLC, which has been certified for safety, is the core control part of the system. It collects the detection situation of each area in a centralized manner, realizes sound and light alarms and logical control, and completes the on-site liberation of the fire protection system. The control center monitoring computer can obtain real-time data from PLC through high-speed industrial Ethernet interface, display and record the status and alarm situation of on-site detectors, and facilitate statistics and analysis.



Core components: a control system composed of PLC as the core;

SIL level: SIL2 and SIL3 levels are required, with TUV certification;

Redundancy: CPU redundancy, power redundancy, and communication redundancy are required;

◆ Communication with other control systems: Communication with DCS and ESD systems is required, mainly through Modbus and Profibus communication methods;

On site equipment: (4~20) mA signal, switch signal: protection level IP65 to IP67.

Communication function: The computer and PLC communicate via Ethernet to collect and display data such as gas concentration information and fire detector status.

Alarm function: Read the alarm status in the PLC and display it on the computer screen. Once the concentration of a certain gas on site reaches or exceeds the equipment value, the system interface will pop up an audible and visual alarm signal and record the alarm situation in the memory.

● Parameter setting: Input system parameters such as control parameters, alarm limits, system time, etc.

Data release: The system adopts advanced TCP/IP network technology, so database sharing can be easily achieved, and even WEB technology can be used to publish the on-site status to the network. Leaders thousands of miles away can open their computers and plug in the internet cable at any time to see the gas concentration and fire detection situation on site.

User management: The system adopts a four level password protection function, and users can log in with passwords of different levels of permissions to perform operations within their permissions.
